Sergi de Meià is a professional cook with 25 years of experience. He’s been inspired by seeing his grandmothers and mother cook since he was a child.
After he finished his cooking studies he started working in high standards places, such as El Racó d’en Freixa, where he grew his own style, perfecting it while traveling around the world to learn new cooking tricks.
His favourite Asegura que su kitchen tool are the “coccotes”, for making his signature roasted meat.
Km0 is his philosophy, using local and seasonal products, directly working with manufacturers.
He considers the Penedès as a very special place, as it is between the sea and the mountains, with a rich and diverse gastronomic and winery culture. The ideal place to discover the wine essence of our country.
